Mister Fix-It - Like Father Like Son

I don't believe there was anything funnier than this today. I attempted to see what made Kenner's train go, because it hasn't gone from day one. I found the screwdriver and un-did the train. I went to put the train back together, after tending to Patton for a second and I couldn't find it or the screwdriver anywhere. I went out on the porch to see where it might have traveled off to. This is what I found... He wouldn't let me have the train nor the screwdriver...so here is Kenner fixing the train in the lawn.
In the middle of fixing the train, Aunt Becca called. Kenner proceeded to tell her and show her how Daddy dug up the front side walk and Mommy planted the new flowers by putting the phone in the direction of the various projects. It was quite hillarious!

Another funny story today...Kenner was transporting the train tracks from our back room to the front room this afternoon, so Patton and I could play with him. As I was building the tracks, I would tell Kenner that I would need another piece. This kept him busy for about 5 trips. He was getting tired, so I needed one more piece of track. Kenner was tired so he sat down next to me and I said, "I need one more." He proceeded to say, "No (tapped my leg which was folded in front of me) Go" and then pointed for me to go. I am loving his two word combinations these days!!!! I had to get up and get it at that point, because he was so good with communicating. We have only been home one week this summer and have so many stories to tell. I will blog about the Colorado Trip tomorrow during nap time or after they go to bed. Syrup, awful hot tub, and napping with gma...

Choo Choo!

Look at my baby sitting up and playing with his brother! Look at his brother sharing his choo choo's with him. What a nice big brother!
Look Mom! This is how I play choo choo and...
this is how I stay on the tracks, no matter what is on the tracks (note: brother's hand)
Oops! (thought Kenner). My brother did it again...OUCH! (thought Patton)
Wow! He can really sit up in much stress (thought Mommy)

Play time with Patton

I was able to get the camera without either of them looking or falling over (mainly Patton). I snapped one shot, then... Kenner thought he would pose - that is on top of Patton. Who wouldn't love my pacifier boys?!?
Kenner is getting comfy...Patton is saying "GET OFF ME YOU BIG LOAD!"
Kenner is comfy and Patton is now pinching Kenner to get him off his lap. Sorry to inform you Patton...nothing gets to Kenner - but Mommy will stop taking pictures now to relieve you!

Bubbles!!!!!!!!!!!

Mommy finally splurged for some bubble bath and it sure made two boys extremely happy!
Look at Patton actually playing in the water. It is so nice of his big brother to share his toys with his little brother!
Where did the green cup go? I just had it?!?

Our beautiful fenced in back yard and landscaping!

We started on the front and the side landscaping on Mother's Day and the landscaping was done by Graduation for Casey, which was the next weekend. Casey did this retaining wall in a day, while we were in Colorado. Way to go Casey!
Look at our awesome grass!! Yes that is Kenner darting across the picture.
love the fence? I will really love it when there is a latch on the gate...but it really makes our yard and house look complete! Casey (and alittle help from me with the miter saw) did this in one day! What a guy!

Our (to be) beautiful back yard

Happy May Day Everyone

Kenner and I went through the Tender Heart stash of gifts to find the perfect tea for two May Day baskets. No candy you are asking...it was because Mom forgot it was May Day and didn't want to run to the store with two little boys just to get candy:) And we are off!
Kenner decided to take his wagon in the grass...only to find out that it was a much harder tug. Once he got back on the pavement, he was off and running!
Kenner was quite the deliverer. One time I had to stop to get everyone situated before moving on to the next house. We stopped in front of another house (that was not going to be recieving a May Day basket) and Kenner got a basket out and was ready to take it to the front door. What a smart guy:) Happy May Day!
