Walk Now for Autism Walk

Thanks to Aunt Kendra for watching Patton. Kenner and I were able to go support Autism and walk with my friend, James and his family. Kenner obviously loved the bubbles!!

Photo shoot and Barnes and Noble Story Time

Yes I am trying to get all the things done I wanted to this summer...in one week:) Just kidding. Here are a few pictures of the boys and hanging at Story time at Barnes and Noble.
A not so nice face... ...now there is our future Baby Idol remember to vote next week with every email address and every day!
Boys listening at story time. They made me proud to see them sitting and listening...
...for the first two minutes and then it was all over the store. Oh well, next time we will go for 4 minutes:)
Kenner and his new boots from G Gma Jan and GGpa Jim. He hasn't taken them off since! As you can see in the background that we have plenty of mud and puddles to get into. Now he has good shoes to march in it...as opposed to me washing every pair of shoes that he owns.

Our first trip to the Zoo! (this summer)

We have a friend for the summer hanging out with us. Her name is Emily and she is heaven scent. She usually hangs out with her Grandma all summer in Pickrell, which is a 1/2 hour away from her home and swimming pool. She is great with the boys and is fun to just hang with to watch Oprah while the boys are asleep. She even learned how to sew last week. You will notice her in our pictures of this summer:)
Fun times at the zoo! This trip was the first one that Patton actually realized that there were animals and the made all the sounds they make.

Bub and his thumb...hmmm when do we need to be worried? Not now...he is too cute.
Kenner talking with the "Baboo" It came up to talk with him:)
The two monster bugs caught in the web.

My second occupation if...

there weren't snakes in this world! I love to do landscaping, but I am deathly afraid of snakes. So because I work in a school, I have several "friends" from school that love snakes. So I enlist them to be my snake hunters, so they hunt while work behind them. Last summer we landscaped the other side of the house, so I decided to take on the other side...the sun side. Nothing grew on that side of the house and if it did it was the most enormous sized weeds you had ever seen. A "real" nice view when coming from our house on that side. On this side of the garage (which is in our back yard) was what I previously thought of as our "snake" weed garden. I never went back there...for fear that there were several snakes living in the peony/weed garden. I should also mention that two of Casey's 7 hives were also housed in that snake weed garden...so it was double trouble. If you got scared by a snake it would cause ruckus in the hive...not a good situation to be in:)

Anyway...back to my side job. This is all the "pretty" that was on this side of the house. After two nice days (and bubbles, sprinkler, long naps, and popsicles) I was able to conquer the south side of our house by myself...while Casey was gone. Here I had a problem at the corner, because the center of our house was not symmetrical...so now there is a hanging plant to help even out the front of the house. I had to join the black edging (that I put in last year) with the new edging I was putting in this year...can you tell where I joined it?
Yes it does buldge out...but I did it with the start of the house and ending of the porch...at the time of design (while digging) it was a good idea...but now it looks like I really messed up. I guess you can call it my signature mark:)
This picture is from our back yard. Where there is dirt/weeds is where our beloved dog once lived until two weeks ago. Bullseye was a great dog, but too much for me to take care of. Thanks to Craig's list we found a great new family for her. She gets to sleep in one of the two teenage boy's room and play fetch and tag with their other dog. Yes I did shed a few tears for her, but it is all better now and we have (or will have) a decent back yard that isn't filled with junk plugging up the holes of the kennel. **
**Side note: After removing her kennel and attempting to shape the area up for grass, I dug out 16 bricks, one cement block, three stakes, a bike, a hive top, a battery, two hive boxes, and several misc. balls. All of which were blocking holes to her kennel so she didn't get out. Do you think it was time for Bullseye to find a new family...I think so!

As you can see...we still have plenty left to do. We will be installing underground sprinklers soon, so we will hopefully go from mud to grass (hopefully). I will have to blog a before of our yard. YUCK is all I can say now:)

The Day Care Gang

It was the last official day of day care for the boys until August...so I decided to bring Dilly bars from DQ and my camera. After viewing pictures you can tell that daycare isn't daycare, but hanging at Delaney's house! I have the world's best babysitter!
The older gang in the new "club house" Zach is standing and exactly one year older than Patton, and Kenner and Delaney peeking over the flowers. They were attempting to follow my direction of posing...they didn't get it (obviously!) Patton the dare devil. Kris doesn't let Patton get up into the clubhouse...hmmm I wonder why? Crazy boy!
Patton (after eating a snack of well mixed potting soil) with his girlfriend, Emery. She will be a year this summer! Emery and Delaney are sisters...can you tell?
Look what I learned to do all by myself at day care this year...go down the slide! Here I go...
...perfect 10 landing! Way to go Bubbi! I am so proud of you
The older gang with Patton...Patton, Delaney, Kenner, and Zach. What a crew!
Then I thought it would be cute if they all got a "flower" and blew on it at the same time. Here they are searching for "flowers."
1, 2, 3 BLOW. Make more flowers for Brian (Delaney and Emery's dad) to mow over:) You're welcome Brian!
Don't they just look easy to watch....that is why Kris sleeps so well at night.

The future wedding video picture...ahh!
There's another!
This is completely off the subject...but something also to be proud of. In his spare time of being gone every other week since March, Casey has made this trailer from scratch...yep...no nothing except bars of metal and two wheels. He is quite the welder and Daddy!

Lincoln Safari

We, along with 1,000's of other families in Lincoln joined the Lincoln Safari
Our first trip was to Union College with the whole family. It was one of the first nice days in the beginning of April (yes I am really behind in blogging!!). We brought our ball, found the plate to do our rubbing and then off to the front desk to get a Union College zebra.

Since then we have been to Pioneers Park (they have 4, but we only found 2 that day) and will do the rest of them this summer and fall. It is an awesome grant! We got a nice tote bag, a beautiful brochure of all the things to do in LIncoln outside and a great passport. Be sure to check it out!

Kendra's Shower and Misc Pictures of the boys

Carla, which is Jane's (Kendra's roommate) sister spoke about marriage and her relationship with God at Kendra's Friend's shower. It was amazing if you would like her speech, I would be glad to email you. It was a great refresher for me and wish everyone would listen to her advice and attempt to apply it to your marriage! I am trying...but it is very hard!
This is a picture of Carla's daughter getting some skittles for the road or as a gift to her mother when she does the laundry:) Random picture of Kenner...just fun on the porch
Kendra and her mom (my grandma) Jackie
Kendra's future mother in law, Janie, Kendra and her mom (my grandma) Jackie

Another random...Kenner with my head band on! Always thinking of something...and no my children aren't always this gross looking. Zout does magic on clothing! Also Patton doesn't have a pacifer except for when he goes to grandma's house. Then it takes us a couple days to de-pacify ourselves:) Gotta love Grandma's though!
The hosts, minus Jill. Jane (her roomie), Kendra, Jen (her good friend and neighbor), and me. I am really not sure what I was thinking that morning when I got dressed. HORRIBLE outfit!!! It was my first time out without my boys in a couple weeks...so I guess my mind was on sitting at a table without chasing anyone as opposed to getting the highest raves on my clothing!
Kenny and her future mother in law, Janie
Jill, Kendra, and Kalika (her future sister in laws) Jill , Trev's sister and Kalika, Trev's sister in law and going to have a baby in Dec!
Patton...not sure what this picture was about...but he is into hiding these days.
