Well it is over and we are already planning next year's 2nd annual Elementary Carnival. I have always secretly been a Hebron Bear at heart...but I was transformed last Friday night and will now be a Crete Cardinal through and through. This carnival could have had many things go wrong...but they didn't because all the volunteers (especially staff members) stepped up without being asked. The decorations were unbelievable, the fun was incredible and the night went without many hitches (inflatable deflating and a kid puking all at the same time). I am so proud to say I am apart of the Crete Elementary School! Here are a few pictures! We made $2400 profit from this event...it wasn't even suppose to be a money maker. I guess we will put that $2400 toward the carnival next year:)

My little boy had a wonderful time! (So I heard since I was sick. Grr...) He was fascinated by the trains. And was perfectly content to not even get a prize from off of the stage. The balloon from Derek's classroom was enough. It looks like it was wonderful, a great time for the community to actually be together. And that photo of Laurie Diebert is great! Maybe she should take that profession up when she retires.
Wow! Your hard work really paid off. Looks like everyone had an awesome time. I'm coming next year!!
