WE LOVE MINNESOTA part 2

We had to keep Patton company while in the boat, so why not try a little grape twizzlers for the first time. Looks like he loved it!! Ahh! Kenner decided to take a nap. Finally a little calm on the seas...
Just kidding! I wasn't sleeping!
I am not sure what Kenner was trying to do, but he wanted the big person's life jacket on over his. Maybe he thought he really didn't have a life jacket on...when he really did with his slick one piece life jacket.
Patton admiring the waves of Rush lake.
Kenner wanted to have a picnic outside, so Patton and Annie and I joined him. Note that Patton isn't sitting in that seat by himself, we tied him in with a towel.
The "pooh"-ol Gpa brought out for us! Mommie realized what the little swimmer diapers actually hold...nothing! (including when someone goes #2)
You caught me!
Mommie wasn't very nice and tried dunking Kenner in the lake. Annie was much nicer than Mommie! He loved getting his hair wet though:)
Patton loved the lake! What's up homie!

Great Gpa and Kenner looking for Nemo's! There were plenty out there. Next year we will have to go with Daddy to fish!
Eating alone is now over...look who wanted my cone!
Look who got my cone!
Look who got their own, because that battle was lost long long ago!
Gma and Gpa enjoying a cone of their own...and now they are enjoying a peaceful time in their cabin without the two generals!
Hey look who is crawling!! What out brother! I have watched you too long to not pick up on ALL of your tricks...including taking my pacifier way! he he he

The photo opp in front of the sign! Nice Hair Mommie!!
Annie was concerned that you couldn't see our names...so here they are close up!
One minute in the car....
Two minutes in the car...(gotta love technology these days!)

Captain Underpants

Finally my camera was working. My sister Andrea called immediately after I took these pictures and as you can see why I couldn't stop laughing. Take note on the "tank underwear" fashion that Kenner is sporting along with his three layer cape!! No those aren't "tracks" on the underwear (they are clean)...Kenner had just eaten a brownie!

Make way for Captain Underpants!

Multi Tasking

The countdown is on until Casey leaves and the woodwork magic wand isn't working so well. It takes so long for woodwork...especially attempting to use the old woodwork. So as you can I was multitasking this morning in order to make everyone happpy:
Here are the stations:
Mommy's woodworking station Brother's sprinkler station
Brother's garden - Are there any strawberries Kenner, "Nope!"
Patton's play house

Alright...my camera is really making me mad! Do you think it is time to be potty trained. I went upstairs to see what Kenner was up to and he had opened his dad's drawer, took off his diaper and proceeded to put on his dad's underwear...on his head! I have been laughing about this so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! time to potty train I believe! It was Kenner's big birthday present a week late. There was a poker run for Down Syndrome at the Harley Davidson in Lincoln and the bar in Sprague participated. Lucky for Kenner!!! We had over 500 Harley bikes line our street and Kenner was in Hog Heaven!
This picture is of our street. This picture was also taken very early. There were Harley's clear down in front of our house (which means they would have extended through the left of the picture below!!

Fun in the Sun!

Fun in the Sun!
Kenner got to play with all his new toys this weekend at our house and at Becca's! He wasn't sure of his Thomas the train engine sprinkler...but after playing it at our house and at Becca's he isn't afraid any longer. My dumb camera is doing weird things...so I couldn't get any of him loving the sprinkler...which is a sight to see:) still not so sure about the sprinkler.
Someone else loves to sit outside and watch his brother. He is almost pushing himself up on his knees and moving forward. I think a little more time watching his brother go go go and we will see Patton go go go also! Maybe he will be crawling before Daddy gets back from Guam. Daddy leaves on Friday and will be gone for 3 weeks. We will be traveling from grandma's house to grandma's house to keep us company!

Isn't he just a little peach? If this doesn't brighten your Monday morning...nothing will:)

GGpa and Kenner Movie

This was my first experience using the camera for a movie outside my house in a big pressure situation...therefore the video's are horrible. I was attempting to get the announcer's comments about gpa...but they stopped before it was even 1/2 read. Sorry for the horrible quality

Thank you for our Freedom

We had a busy two days. First Sprague had their fireworks on the 3rd with a Pork Loin Sandwich and Ice Cream, then we traveled to Hebron on Wed morning. On the way to Hebron we stopped at the flea market in Fairbury. It was fun to look through all the old things...but we didn't need any more junk at our house:) We then went to Hebron, played Grandma's games at the park, ate a hamburger at the fire hall, hung out at the "shack" then got ready for the parade. G-Gpa was the Grand Marshall of the parade and I (Kenner) got to ride with him.
Here we are walking to our car. I love my GGpa Hmm...I like to put finger prints on this car...but I am not sure if I want to get in it! As you can see this took MAJOR twisting of GGpa's arm to be the Grand Marshall (seriously, an hour in the garden until he folded and said he would!) It is so nice for my GGpa to be honored...as he did and does so much for Hebron. I love you GGpa Jimmy!
I am still really not sure I am going to like it!
Wait...there is Jasa! HI JASA!!! I think I am going to like this waving thing!
Off we go! Boy do I like waving at everyone! Everyone is clapping for my GGpa! What a guy!
Here we are in our first tailgating exprience at the Sprague Fireworks!!! Mommy loved it the best, because I couldn't get out of the pickup and I was contained! My brother tried taking some Cheetohs...but I didn't let him.
There is my grandma in the parade with Teammates!
There is GG Uncle Johnny and his car that he created! Cool Car GG Uncle Johnny

BIG BIRTHDAY BASH

These pictures are out of order, due to my adding them onto this post! Sorry!
Here is the birthday boy swinging!! Too bad it is too blurry Here is my Thomas the Tank engine creation of the Island of Sodor. Had I known that Kenner was going to sample the cake (referring to the hole in the tunnel) I would have made a chocolate cake to make it look like a real tunnel. I sure had fun using all my pampered chef tools to make it!!
We refrained from having the candle lit (or should I say I forgot), but he did a nice job of blowing out the unlit candle!
Aunt Kendra was able to come and celebrate with us at Valentina Land...which is a must for all birthday parties!
Swimming in the freezing pool on his actual birthday. He was freezing, but loved the water (which is a huge change from a month ago!) He was deathly afraid of the water in Salina the first week of June! Way to brave the big waters Kenner!
We braved the big waters, but we didn't so much fair with the big kids slide! Oops! We will try again another year! Thanks to Anthony (I think that is his name) and Jenna for getting a little wet to see if he would like it!
Someone else liked the water...but we didn't bring his suit! Oh well...all clothes do get wet in the wash!
Someone also got the bravery to climb on the big kids ladder. He did well all the way until the top and then he couldn't reposition his hands in order to get a good balance at the top! He is always amusing us!
Someone also likes to swing! Aren't you adorable??
Great Great Grandpa Cornelius holding the lighter version of his great great grandchildren. Story below.
5 generation picture...attempted to take one without Kenner...but yet again he finds himself in every picture:) You make me laugh Kenner!
Kenner at the baby pool...he was still attempting to stay out of the freezing cold water.
I got to play with my buddy Simon again! I really do like that guy! He played with me in the freezing water, so that we both were cold. We had fun throwing the balls back and forth to each other. He told me that the slide would be fun...so I better think twice about his opinions...because the slide wasn't too fun!
Grandma showing me how to blow bubbles! What a fun grandma

As you can tell...someone in this picture has taken a few pictures in her lifetime. Can you tell who that is? Yes it is the real Hannah Montana!
The big birthday party at Kris and Kurk's house. Thanks so much for doing everything! I really appreciated it!
Mommy with her two of three favorite boys!
Kenner and his cousin Brock (who is 2 months younger, but you can't tell).
I told Kenner to go tell Great Great Grandpa thank you for his present. He went over to Grandpa to give him a hug and grandpa thought he would be able to lift him on to his lap...BOY WAS GRANDPA WRONG. He lifted him with one hand and said, "My GOODNESS how much does this boy weigh???" He did proceed to get him on his lap for a hug and a talk about the farm (which is on the puzzle). We are so blessed to have so many grandparents!

Kenner's first two years!

Kenner is a year old in this picture...wow has he changed! He still loves baseball though! and ice cream!

Here is my baby 2 years ago. It is amazing how quickly they grow up!

patience

I finally got the video to post that I wanted to a long time ago with Kenner playing catch with Patton!!! Here it is!

Digging through old pictures

While my mom had the boys, I cleaned up our basement, as well as sanded, stained, and varnished all the windows upstairs. Needless to say, I am VERY glad to have my boys back home and will enjoying many hours outside, playing with all our fun new toys Kenner received for his big birthday! As I was cleaning out downstairs, I got a chance to sit down and get some pictures off our old computer. I came across this Three Month Remodeling video I made, when we were three months into our remodel. Tuesday will mark our 2nd anniversary of selling our house, which means we are only one month shy of our anniversary of marking the day we began to "flip" our house. Yes, yes many of you watch that show and they "flip" houses in 6-10 weeks! Well we aren't professional flippers and we have flipped a few things in the last couple years:) Here is a video I found (hopefully it works...I haven't had much success with You Tube) that I made of our 3month remodel. It almost makes me sick to think that Kenner was raised and learned to crawl and walk through the mess that we called home for 1 and 1/2 years!
